Dr. Lagonigro is a board certified vitreoretinal specialist. His practice is focused on the medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and received his medical education at State University of New York-Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his ophthalmic residency at the New York Medical College and then travelled to Memphis, TN for his retinal fellowship at the VitreoRetinal Foundation.
