The Delaware Eye Institute is a dedicated group of expertly trained doctors and staff committed to providing the highest quality medical and surgical eye care. As a multispecialty group, each year our ophthalmologists and optometrist see thousands of new patients of all ages, from infant to adult, for routine eye exams, as well as performing thousands of eye operations each year for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes.
We have a state of the art office complex in Rehobeth Beach. This includes an expanded clinical wing, a full service optical shop, the Retina Center and our Outpatient Surgery Center with two operating rooms. This one of a kind facility, staffed with nurses experienced in ophthalmic surgery, is designed to enable us to provide the latest techniques and technologies, such as Laser Surgery and No Stitch Cataract Surgery using the new cold tip phacoemulsification technology. Our Millsboro office also remains open for our clinical patients as well.
As participants in many national research studies, our fellowship trained physicians can often provide to patients with complex and serious eye conditions with the most advanced vision saving medical and surgical treatments available.
